Red Raiders!!!

In October we meet my sister in Lubbock for the A&M vs Texas Tech home game. It had a great time with the family. Regina Penney (our wonderful photographer) took our first Allen family pictures since our wedding in 2005!!! I think it was time to update!!!!

FOOTBALL

We still go every Friday night to my high school football games and the kids love it until about the end of the 2nd quarter and then they are done, we watch the band and then go home!!!

Miss Corley is carrying one of mommy's Thirty-one bags and after that night she carried it to a lot of place so for Christmas she got her own bag!
We park at the baseball stadium and walk over and each week JP runs to the catcher and sits by it!
Corley that is so your Great Grandma Allen's trait. I don't know how many pictures we have of her with her tongue sticking out. At least every time you stick your tongue out I think of my grandma, your Great grandma.

and Corley the thumb sucking you got from your momma!!!!

I know.....

I know that it has been a long time since I have posted, but with work, kids and life I have just been too busy. So here are a few of Corley's funny faces in September 2011....yes September! HAHA

Opening doors

I have to say that I am truly honored and blessed to see how God is working in my life. I have a wonderful husband, 2 adorable and loving children, have had a great job for the last 8 1/2 years and I can say that it is all To His Glory, amen!

Just this past month, I decided to join 31 as an independent consultant for them and again I am see how God just works through us and how he is opening so many doors for me. You have to understand that I am a person who doesn't like change and getting out of my comfort zone is hard for me. I like things to stay the same, but least face it, we all know that it does not! I am amazed at all the opportunity I have been given and that I have stepped out of my comfort zone and took them!

Thank you Lord for all the blessing you pour down from above and may you continue to bless myself and my family through out the years.

Soccer

We decided to let JP play soccer for the YMCA this year.

He was so excited about getting his soccer shirt, soccer shoes and soccer sock

Here are a few pictures of his first game! Good kick son!
JP and his cousin Maddux played together!

Now let me explain, this was a rough game for JP.

He was playing with 3-4 year olds and they were

playing against 5-6 year olds with experience

Needless to say daddy was encouraging JP to go

back out there.
Sister on the sidelines just relaxing...she is probably thinking

"mom its hot out here"

What a Trip.....

This year we were able to finally go on Reyes Family Vacation to San Antonio!

We had a great time !!!!

Yes this is all the kids that we had on our trip, needless to say that
we rented a house and it was the best thing we did!

Ice Cream at the park....of course she made a mess and

I did not have back up clothes with me....oh well we are in

VACATION!!!!!

Of course and then back to playtime!

Friday afternoon we went to the Wildlife Ranch
African Safari, Texas Style

It was stay in your car and drive through

the Safari and feed the animals

and try to keep them out of your car!!

Some of these animals are just crazy looking like this one below, I barley saw him!
This is a Kudo, they are they are friendly and social.

Kudo's are also endangered species

I told John as we were driving through that God

does make AMAZING animals....
JP asked "Mommy Jesus made all these?"

I told him "yes he did"
JP: "WOW Jesus makes lots of things"

...gotta love kids

This is a Gemsbok

Yes they even had longhorns

Buffalo.....

As we were driving up I was amazed at how LARGE buffalo's are in person
Don't get me wrong, I know they are huge, but
in person it is just amazing!

Ok, so I was impressed with the Buffalo, until.......

Yes he is walking straight to the car, JP dropped
food right outside the window (yes it was food they gave us)
I looked over and all I see after the food was dropped
was the window going up! I asked John, "are you scared?"
He said, "No, I just love my life"
Lol...."I am glad babe, I love you too!".....husbands

Ok so as you go in, the tell you not to feed the animals as they
may bite, so of course some just don't listen.
I really think that these Ostrich just don't care
and neither did these folks.

Yes as he or she walked to our car, the window as going back up...
I just had to laugh, really babe do you think he may kill ya...lol
His response was "No but someone probably has lot a finger!"

JP and daddy!

These are probably one of my favorite animals to see! Not sure why he is behind a fence, I would have

loved to see him moving around, but oh well

there had to be a reason!

This donkey was making the animal below not a happy animal

This is the Llama that the donkey was making mad!

It was really neat to see the animals interact just how they would

out in the wild!

Yes keeping her inside the car at times was a challenge!

She loved it!!!!

A buffalo and Gemsbok

You are able to go through the Safari as many times as you would like

So we went a second time and towards the end JP looks at me and says:

"Mommy I am going to go and watch my movie"

Guess he was done!

Love that he can buckle himself up!!!

All I have to do is make sure he is in tight!

Giraffe's have always amazed me!

Of course after we were done at the Safari it was

POOL TIME!!!!

I was proud that Corley was able to wear her floaties

and did a great job!

I think she may be part fish!

Ok so I know that the flotation tube that JP is wearing looks odd

and I have to admit that I had one as a child.

This is amazing and he loves it!

So if it keeps my baby safe all worth it!

My little warrior!

Time to get back home!

We had a great time on our trip!
